UK Trip day 7- London; Edinburgh

Our last morning in London before traveling up to Edinburgh =)

London greets you with beautiful flowers and skyscrapers.

Ding Shyong brought us to the Waterloo train station for some Cornwall Pasty! I was told, if it isn't for the existence of the yummy pasty, Cornwall will just be another small little village.

We were at the train station, true, but only for breakfast, haha. We headed home to finish packing and to let Zven finish up the milk (full cream, hence I didn't help) he bought. Sounded like we had ample amount of time to travel to our train station at London King's Cross. We had a lot of time, until Zven decided to rest on the couch and refused to get up to fetch his milk from the fridge =p

Had to rush, with our LUGGAGE! Up and down the tube station. Sigh, tiring. Oh wait, I didn't carry my suitcase along the stairs (smaller tube stations don't have elevators), Zven did that. Strong man, THANKS A MILLION! Haha.

Rush rush rush, with me being so swift and cool, we made it to the train platform 2 minutes before the departure! Excellent!

Our train was the National Rail. It was indeed the coolest long distance train ride! We had free wifi access, power source and the seats were definitely more comfortable than the seats on the flight.

We tweeted, checked mails, and watched HOUSE SEASON 6! Haha. Just awesome =)
Zven is a dude, who can sleep, anytime, anywhere. How I wish I can do that, ok, maybe not.

I saw a medical student across our seats. Guessing she was a final year student, judging by the topics and clinical cases she was reviewing on her laptop and her OHCM that was filled with post-its and notes. That's not the main point. The main point was that she had 2 Longchamp le Pliage bags with her. So, what does that say? Every female medical student has to have at least 1 of those.

Zven experimenting with his camera's shutter speed and lighting...

Edinburgh Waverly!
Marcus was there to meet us first as he was on time (he's not a Malaysian, that's why).

Then Nikki!!!

Zven followed Marcus back to his place while I followed Nikki. I'm guessing Zven dragged his big luggage and Marcus helped him with the hand-carry? Or not, haha.
THANK YOU, Nikki, for dragging my heavy suitcase all the way back to your place =) THANK YOU for letting me stay with you!

Nikki & Keng's apartment was really awesome. Spacious, cozy, modern looking...
I had access to all the snacks in the house yo! And there was a lot! Nice!

We had dinner at a fine dining restaurant, called The Living Room. Nikki's sister got us a 40% discount, hahaha. Li Yenn and Tze Yee (from our high school) joined us for the meal =)
