Nikki & Keng were planning to hit the gym, along with Marc & Zven in the morning. I think they were supposed to meet at 9.30am. Me? Pass! Hahaha, too lazy to wake up in the cold winter just to sweat it all out and shower! My alarm rang at 9 and I finally snoozed till 9.45. I looked up and saw Nikki still in bed.
FUCK! 1 hour to get ready? Are you kidding me?!?!
Ok, so that was how my last morning at Edinburgh started.
So, as amazing as I am, as always, I got ready in time! Nikki, Marc, Keng, Zven & I joined the historical tour of the Mary King's Close! Spooky.... I thought the tour was quite cool, talked about the ancient history of the city, the plague, the city underground... Well, I was hoping to join the ghost tour, too bad for the wrong timing. I guess I have to go back to Edinburgh again, right? Haha.

After the tour, Marc had to leave for his lecture, and was going to babysit the tourists (us) after that. Meanwhile, Keng & Nikki stayed with us for brunch at Chocolate Soup =)
Nikki's meatballs. It was self service.
Zven's sandwich, before toasted.
After toasted, Voila!
Keng's
Mine
Keng, me, Nikki, Zven
Nikki had to leave us for his lecture, and was unable to send us off. Sobzzz... =( So, it was bye bye for Nikki, and see you back in KL. Keng had to leave for class too, but just like Marc, he could see us again before we leave later that evening.
2 abandoned tourists in the streets on Edinburgh, in the cold winter, under the rain and circularly-moving winds. We walked along the Royal Mile, to reach the Edinburgh Castle. It was just a mile long, but due to the wind and rain, it took us forever to reach. The strong wind with its forever changing direction broke our £3 umbrella. Then we bought a new one, but we didn't use it, since the wind would have broken it as well.
St. Giles' Cathedral along the Royal Mile
Our umbrella!
Finally, the CASTLE!
We were too stingy to pay to enter, so we only took pictures from the entrance and looked around in the souvenir shop.

Marc wasn't done after our trip to the castle. Homeless, we walked around the streets aimlessly. Stepping into random shops.
The little boy at the toy store. Look how happy he was!

My new hair style. Stylists: the Edinburgh rain & wind.
This is for you, TY!
Then, Marcus, the saint, called!!! So we headed home with him, hang out a little.
The generous host offered IndoMee, to Zven, the person-who-gets-hungry-every-2-hours.
Marc heated up a muffin for me =)
Zven and Keng drank someone else's orange juice, haha. That's 'cause the housemates of Marc's have no respect over the properties of others! They drank Marc's milk from the fridge, and Iron Bru too (his favourite Scottish drink).
I heard Marc screamed in his room, "Zven, I WANT TO FUCK YOU ALREADY!!!" I'm sure he didn't mean it literally. I went into his room and asked what happened.
He's addicted.
Keng & Marc sent us off at the train station.
THANK YOU MARCUS!!! FOR DRAGGING MY HEAVY LUGGAGE!
Our train was CANCELLED! DAMN IT! It was said that the west coast rain and flood had caused that. We were arranged to board onto the next available train, which was 50 minutes later. Again, my dear Marcus and Keng stayed at the station with us =)
So, it was bye bye for Marcus. I'll only be able to see you when you visit KL/ Sydney (quite unlikely since we'll have different long breaks from now on) or when I visit S'pore/Edinburgh.
Sobzz X 10.
Bye bye for Keng, but I'll see you soon when you're back in KL for X'mas =)
The train was on time alright. But it was really slow, and kept on stopping intermittently. After 2 hours, the train manager decided to relocate all the passengers to another train that was travelling to the same destination via a different route. Just my luck!

Due to the delayed schedule, the train conductor came and asked the passengers for their destinations, just so they can confirm that everyone could reach their homes, if not, transportations would be arranged. The train conductor actually turned to me and said, "What about you, kid. Where are you heading to?"
If i were a kid, let me enjoy the discounted fare as well. Damn it.
I was so bored on the delayed train ride, since Zven and I have finished watching House Season 6 (uptil the latest available episode then). He was happily watching Heroes. Not my cup of tea. Van & I just talked on the phone for hours, haha.
After another 2 hours, we reached Preston! It was midnight already. Poor Van had to stay up to wait for our arrival.
Hungry hungry us. One can only imagine Zven's feelings at that time.
Instant noodles for supper/dinner! at 4 am. Van was being so sweet!! She prepared the meal for us! THANK YOU!!!

I think our noise woke Van's housemates up. Oh well. We're gone now anyway.

Peace out!
Me: "Nikki, not going to the gym?"
Nikki: "Hah, no, too lazy. Oh yea, we're meeting Marcus at 10.40 ok?"

Me: " That's 1 hour away!!! How?!?"
Nikki: "Run to the toilet!!!"
